Doggie Pathos

keelywolfeMy husband's family is visiting this week which means that between that and work, I have gotten zero writing done. This sucks because I am filled with ideas that I'm stuck scrawling on a little notepad so I don't forget. (I've tried to put my notes on my phone but I just can't type fast enough on the tiny keyboard. It's good for texting, not so much writing memoirs.)
Last night, the inlaws took the kids for a sleepover with their cousins and left my husband and I to sleep blissfully. (What? That's what you do when you're married with young kids. Sleeping becomes a hobby.) When I got up this morning, I found my dog pathetically laying on my daughter's bed. She's been following me around sadly all morning, beaming her agony at me with accusing eyes, as if to say, "Where are my children?? Where??"
Poor sweet thing. *G*
