Doggie Pathos

My husband's family is visiting this week which means that between that and work, I have gotten zero writing done. This sucks because I am filled with ideas that I'm stuck scrawling on a little notepad so I don't forget. (I've tried to put my notes on my phone but I just can't type fast enough on the tiny keyboard. It's good for texting, not so much writing memoirs.)

Last night, the inlaws took the kids for a sleepover with their cousins and left my husband and I to sleep blissfully. (What? That's what you do when you're married with young kids. Sleeping becomes a hobby.) When I got up this morning, I found my dog pathetically laying on my daughter's bed. She's been following me around sadly all morning, beaming her agony at me with accusing eyes, as if to say, "Where are my children?? Where??"

Poor sweet thing. *G*

My mother always told me that having two toddlers was the best form of birth control she knew because she could never stay awake long enough to have sex. At the time, I thought she was kidding. She wasn't.

I have visions of you using your cell phone to call your land line to leave yourself messages...

Aww, puppy misses his miniature humans =( Poor thing. My cat has been doing the same since my daughter went to the grandparents' for the summer. Such sweet little babysitters our pets are!
