There's so much going on in the world right now that I have talked about endlessly in Real Life that I don't even want to think about it on my internet time. Instead, I'm net surfing, vaguely writing story notes, and all around vegging while I'm waiting to go to an inventory. (Thankfully, not my own.)

I just sort of realized today that this Transformers series is the longest thing I've ever written. It just topped 160,000 words. Huh. Not bad for a story that was supposed to be a one-shot. Also not bad considering it was on hiatus for, what, two years? For that matter, I was supposed to end the damned thing about...oh, ten chapters ago but instead, I'm toying with adding another pairing. Good lord, someone stop me. It's weirdly relaxing to write it but man, I have a few other series to work on and my attention span only allows for one fandom at a time. I haven't even watched the Sherlock Holmes series that my husband is begging for me to see because I'm afraid my brain will go, 'Oooh, shiny!' and wander off.

No shinies. I will finish this story, damn it.

yes please, no shinies:) Don't suppose your feeling really inspired and will post another chapter tonight?:) I have 5 hours on a bus tomorrow and another 5 sitting on my aft waiting for the next bus home, that's lots and lots of boredom:( At least I will have my laptop and Droid with me, I read yesterdays chapter on the droid while on waiting room duty, I love that thing!

I have to admit I've been receiving alerts about your Human series and not reading them, as I'm not into Transformers fic. I continue receive alerts, though, because I'm holding out hope that someday you'll get inspired to go back to Trek. :)

Although, if you needed a break and wanted to head back the Star Trek way... I'm also on board.

Umm... maybe I can offer a shiny that would convince you to write more of this universe? I found a song that really kind of puts your Sunny/Sides dynamic into music... and I kind of want to write it. My brain protests this desire, but the rest of me wants to anyway.

I encourage anything you've already written to be continued. ...That's anything. From Last Airbender stuff, to this Human series, to my personal favorite, the Years Went By series. And yes, Sherlock is wonderful, but these lonely, heart-broken mechs and men need your love!

If it's the Sherlock series I think you're talking about (the BBC one that's actually a few movies) yeah. It's fantastic. But I'll second (third? Fourth?) the "I would certainly not complain about more Star Trek" chorus.
