Transformers: Arm....I mean, Prime. Transformers Prime, why do I keep thinking Armada...

So my husband made me sit down and watch the new Transformers: Prime series and I have to say, I enjoyed it a lot. Characters were good and Ratchet was exactly as I picture him. *G* I only had two issues and the first is cosmetic. See, they gave Prime a face, which is okay, I mean, I'm fine with the concept of battle mask. But they did not give him a nose and it bothered me. He reminded me of someone and I couldn't figure out who...until the end of the second episode.

Me: "Oh, dude! I know who he reminds me of!"

My husband, wearily patient after listening to me grumble about it through two episodes: "Who?"

Me: "Optimus Prime looks just like Lord Voldemort!!!"

So now I have that thought going for me.

The other issue I had is a spoiler so we'll cut it.



Okay....dark energon? Much as I loved the idea of Zombie Transformers, (All things are better with Zombies!!!) the concept of Dark Energon amuses me. Energon is...er...just fuel. You know, fuel? Like gasoline? All I know is I've never stopped at a Sunoco and accidentally turned my car into an evil rampaging zombie with a little dark gasoline.



All in all, though, I really liked it and I can't wait until February for more!

After watching really closely I can see what you mean about Optimus looking like Voldemort, or maybe it is just because I watch the latest movie too recently =.="
And although I love the idea of my car suddenly turning evil because I gave it the wrong petrol I would like to argue that if fuel is to cars as food is to humans (especially with Transformers being far more complicated technology) then it could be plausible. Not saying your wrong but if you've ever met my sister after having the wrong sort of coffee in the morning you'd be afraid Dark Energon as well >.< (ps. please ignore anything stupid that I just said, as it's 1am and I can't get the song 'video killed the radio star' out of my head = valid cause for insanity)
