So I broke down and got a new laptop. I ordered it off QVC, which honestly makes me feel like I should be wearing stretch pants with my hair in curlers, but I actually like QVC for electronics. I got my TV through them last year on a sweet deal and if you're like me and can't drop a thousand bucks all at once, they have easy, no-interest payment plans. Like layaway only you get to play with the toys while you're paying.
Anyway. Laptop. I went with a lovely little HP with a good video card and plenty of RAM and hard drive space. Er, not quite as little as I thought, though. It's huge! I've never owned a laptop that had a number pad. Heck, my last one didn't even have a full size keyboard. All in all, it's a sweet little lapful of love.
Excuse me while we bond.

Date: 2010-07-13 01:22 am (UTC)I personally have 2 laptops, a 15" that is connected to a big (23") LCD monitor and is in my home office (and presently not used much because of my 2nd laptop), aka my sweet baby, a Dell cherry red laptop that is only 12"... while it is still bigger than an iPad, I can lug it everywhere (even at work for lunch time breaks) and do everything on it...
so yeah... I get the laptop love :P
