The infection is finally starting to go down! The doctor said he'll stay one more night and probably be able to go home tomorrow.

Whew! Poor guy is going out of his mind with boredom and I'm just plain going out of my mind. :)

I'm sorry I've been such a slaggard about commenting...I'm very glad that he went to the ER, that he was admitted, and that he is improving. What a horrifying experience for you and for him.
