It started slow. i started enjoying the color pink after my daughter was born. And then the occasional frill and even skirt from time to time.
Now I am wearing makeup. O_o After eschewing it for most of my life, I got a free sample of Sephora foundation and now suddenly I own two of their starter kits because it's super easy and just needs a brush. (Liquid foundation is a horror that I shall never mention.)
Seriously, universe, the heck?

Date: 2009-03-11 12:58 am (UTC)One day I stood before my Magic Mirror. The danged thing was broken! It would only show me the wrinkled and weary face of an old woman. I did the only things that were possible: sheared off 10.5 inches of hair and went for a makeover at the Sephora counter.
I was old enough to be the mother and/or grandmother of every girl who fussed over me that day.
Now I gots me a sassy new 'do and a pretty new face. Oh, and the Sephora lipstick doesn't bleed into the smoking cracks (I quite years ago, but the damage was already done)or fade.
cue music "I enjoy beeeinnnng...a Girl!"
