Feb. 27th, 2011 06:22 pmI love Netflix instant streaming, I really do. I haven't even turned on my cable box in six months and if I could dump my cable and just keep my internet, I so would. One thing I have noticed though is that Netflix can be oddly...specific in their categories. See, they very helpfully sort out the TV shows and movies by the normal categories, like Horror, Sci-fi and Family. But then they have these awesomely hysterical categories like the one I just saw for Controversial Dysfunctional-Family TV Shows.
...really? That doesn't seem, I don't know, oddly specific? They also have Violent Suspenseful Sci-Fi & Fantasy, for those days when just Suspenseful Sci-Fi and Fantasy isn't enough. Guess you can't say they aren't helpful in finding exactly what you're looking for. *G* According to their website, the categories they show are based on my movie preference, so looking at this, I'm pretty sure they have my house tagged as a site for potential serial killers.
Heh.
ETA: Now it has changed to Raunchy Dysfunctional-Family TV Animated Comedies. Talk about specific!
