One of the nicest things about writing characters that don't have an actual human form is that you can flip through all kinds of art to find inspiration. Bumblebee is pretty easy, cute little blond teen and you're set. So is Optimus because the noble look is always in so you can find a picture of a dark haired guy with blue eyes who looks like he's ready to dump some advice on you easily. (BTW, I am finding Optimus in Transformers: Prime to be endlessly amusing with his non-stop string of platitudes. Do not judge people based on their size, consider your actions before you engage, never eat the yellow snow. His constant verbal massaging of Ratchet also makes me snicker in dirty ways) Plus, artists seem to adore Bee and Optimus and you can find all kind of art for 'humanized' Transformers for them.

Ratchet I had picked out ages ago. Check it out.

It's the glasses. My mental requirement for Ratchet involves him having glasses, although I prefer wire-framed. I admit, I do like them all on the younger side and pretty rather than handsome, not that I have a problem with slashing older, buff guys. I'd say it's my anime fannishness coming out. Love the bishonens.

Ironhide is easy, too, I deliberately had him pick Sarah Connor from Terminator because hey, that's hot baby, I don't care who you are.

It's the twins that are giving me havoc. Oh, you can find plenty of pics of Sideswipe and Sunstreaker as humans, but not how I want them. Part of the problem is I gave Sunstreaker dark hair, which i did deliberately. I didn't want him blond; that's Bumblebee, even if both of them are yellow. But Sunstreaker's detailing is black, so I went with that. The other part is because I made Sunstreaker a different kind of sociopathic than usual. He's always been portrayed as surly and vain and I wanted him a little bit more...insane. A little darker, someone who would be just on the edge of actually being a Decepticon because let's face it, if it weren't for Sideswipe, he would be. He's not evil, exactly, he did save Bumblebee. But it's his brother's influence that keeps him that way. So his pic can't be sweet and innocent but it can't be sullen either. Sunstreaker is vain and smug and a completely hot jackass, and he knows it.

So yeah, finding art of a redheaded and a dark-headed set of twins where the dark-haired one is a little evil? Not as easy as you'd think. This would be a good one of Sideswipe on his own (and if you haven't joined the yaoi gallery yet, why not??) I love how his hair is pulled up. This one isn't bad as a twins shot, although i would mentally switch them around, that little hip twist is more Sunstreaker. This one is almost smug enough and this one is a nice counterpoint to the one of 'Sideswipe'. This one is just hot and nsfw. Nothing is quite right, though, although looking at all these makes me want to add piercings and tattoos to just about all of the holos but Ratchet.

Might have to keep looking and really, what a tragedy, to keep sifting through art of hot guys. Just terrible.
