I just see Optimus as this big, dignified guy who is secretly a nerd. *G* He'd sneak off base to go to a huge library. Hey, in some canon, he started off as a data clerk. Some habits never change. ;)
I think Bumblebee would throw a rod if Optimus was actually interested in him. Hey, it's one thing to share Sam, totally another to be the focus on that attention. Mmm, that would be pretty.
