Laughter aside, I treasure those precious moments when he is alone with Ratchet and allows himself to be not Prime, but just Optimus. Thank you for granting those moments of grace to them, it's one of my favourite things about the way you write this couple.
I like the idea of Optimus trusting Ratchet enough to just...be himself. And they are so married in TF: Prime; I loved the part in the 'Scraplet' episode when Optimus and Arcee are trapped in the snow, that Optimus says, "Until Ratchet sends for us, and he will--" Absolutely no doubt whatsoever.
Oooh, and the expression on Ratchet's face when he comments that Megatron and Optimus have, 'Quite a history.' Yeah, no bitterness there, no, not at all.
