New reader here (I had the uncontrollable urge to look up Sam/Bee fic after watching the movie) and I just have to say that I absolutely LOVE this series. I've been reading nonstop for two days. The characterization is excellent, Sam and Optimus are so spot on that I can hear them in my head.
AND RATCHET. Dear god, I have the biggest crush on your Ratchet, it's ridiculous. And thanks to the comment above that compared him to McCoy, I'm beginning to think that maybe I have a thing for the grumpy old doctor trope. XD
Oddly enough, despite me finding this by looking for Sam/Bee fic, I think I'm actually more invested in Optimus and Ratchet's relationship. I was totally biting my nails a few chapters back, because I was convinced Blaster was going to be Wheeljack, and I couldn't decide it that was awesome or terrible.
Basically, this fic is the best thing since sliced bread, and you should feel good for writing it. ♥
And Ratchet playing video games is the most hilarious mental image ever. NEVER CHANGE, RATCHET.
