It smacks of real emotional immaturity and makes me think that Sam honestly isn't ready for any kind of permanent, committed relationship right now.

Well...maybe he's not. He's eighteen, his entire life has changed in the space of a few weeks, he nearly died, and now he's suddenly got alien bugs living on him that might possibly be forcing him to think he's in love with his best friend. And don't forget, Bumblebee is just as inclined to keep things from Sam if he thinks it's best. It's been a rough time for both of them.

You're entirely right about cheating but one biggest problems about having your boyfriend as your best friend is who do you confide in when they are the problem? Even Sam realized this isn't a great idea; his 'What could possibly go wrong?' is more sarcastic than not. I guess we'll have to wait and see exactly what goes wrong, though. ^_^

I think if anything Sam should be honest with Bee and then go from there...

He probably should but if that happened, there would be no story. *G*

I'm not sure what you mean about Bee being so good and forgiving of Sam? Sam yelled at him once when he was angry, after he found Bumblebee naked with Ratchet. I'd like to think they were both forgiving in that situation. He also agreed to let Bumblebee fool around with other Autobots, Sideswipe, just so that they could have sex together properly. Sam's been pretty darned understanding, too. The difference is, Sam knew about it, at least after Ratchet. I can't think of anything else he's done that needs forgiving...yet....

Anyway, I'm rambling. Thank you for reading! Have faith, maybe Sam will surprise you. ;)
