I must admit that I'm not quite sure what to make of this story.
First, it's very well written (as always; I sometimes forget to mention this when reviewing your stories, because their prima facie goodness seems to be an a priori truth (OK, you know you've been studying too much when you start using philosophical terms in regular conversation without noticing it until you read over your post)).
You also managed to capture much of the feel of the show, and much of Zim's psychology (heh, I can see him almost wanting to beat up Smacky because, if Smacky can beat Dib, and Zim can't...).
