keelywolfe: (Etc -- Prided yourself on Wickedness)
Ten years ago, in 1999, a little movie came out known as Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. I saw it once, and became entranced. Utterly. I wrote more for that fandom than I have for any since, I worshiped on the altar of Obi-Wan/Qui-Gon, I bathed myself in all that was the Worlds of George Lucas.

This is true. Many people who are on my friends list probably know me from there.

However, some of you may not know that my first real slash fandom ever was Star Trek. Yes, it is true, Star Trek: DS9 popped my slash-writing cherry and, remembering that, I went and found my first slash story ever. Ever. It's not even up on my own webpage, (thank god) but using the almighty powers of the internet, I found it.

And I read it.

Wow. I laughed, I cried, I cringed. And I thought, well, this is far too good/bad not to share. And so I am. Unedited, with all the original mistakes, and with a tiny bit of commentary, I present to you....

Hello, all. This is my first posting, and I am horribly nervous about it.
So, I'll appreciate any constructive criticism and compliments, but be
gentle, you don't want to make me cry do you?

I thought of this story when I heard Roy Orbison's song "Crying" on the
radio, so I included a bit of it. Enjoy.

(No, it's not a songfic, but it might as well be. The lyrics go away quickly, just try to hang on)
