Of course, procrastination and avoidance definitely seem to be Sam-traits, just like when he was trying to find any reason at all not to contact his parents when they had their big fight.

He does seem to put a lot of effort in to talking to all the wrong people about his issues, doesn't he. Silly boy. If I were to speculate outside of my personal canon in the story, I would say that if Bumblebee's understanding of how human minds work is a little off, then Sam is having the same issue with his alien robot boyfriend. Sure, the situation is pretty weird; I can't think of anyone personally who is dealing with All Spark receptor issues, but he's reacting to the situation like he would to any other. That is, avoidance and panic, and expecting Bumblebee to react to the situation like a human would.

And I don't know, but for some reason Bee does come across as being more forgiving and understanding than Sam - maybe it's just that he is more mature, since he's so much older?

I do wonder if it's because he's older or because Autobots are simply different than humans in their reactions. By Autobot standards, Bumblebee is not old and he says himself he's never been involved with an organic being before. He did tell Sam he wasn't a virgin but that leads us to question exactly whom he's been with and how that relationship went, since he's obviously no longer involved with them.

Autobots do seem to be more relaxed about casual intamacy, Bumblebee's reaction to Sam notwithstanding. I guess beings who don't have sexually transmitted dieseses can be a little more relaxed, LOL.

'finding a willing human' thing with Bee added to the fact that he never told him about the Sunstreaker make-out session. Just starts to make Sam's actions seem more shady.

Oh, absolutely. I don't think he is thinking very clearly at all. If Bumblebee isn't going to blame him for making out with Sideswipe when he was upset, we can assume he's hardly going to blame him for what happened with Sunstreaker since it was obviously not his fault. The issue is complicated, though, since he now has divided loyalties with Sideswipe kind of asking him not to tell. The problem is, he can't really tell about the kiss without telling the truth about his broken arm and considering Bumblebee's reaction when Sunstreaker sent Sam to the infirmary to see him and Ratchet...I can see why Sam would be cautious if he doesn't want a repeat of that.

I also think he's really blaming himself for it more than he should. He wasn't in control of his own actions and as Sideswipe explained, Sunstreaker isn't exactly in perfect control himself in the best of times. So there's no one good to blame and instead of letting it go, Sam is blaming himself.

Heh, of course, this is all just a bit of theorizing outside the story....let there be no spoilers! ;)

Anyway, once again I have rambled on ad nauseum. I really hope I haven't offended you;

Oh, gosh, no, I enjoyed it! It's wonderful to see different perspectives, helps me figure out where the story needs to go next!

There should be a short chapter soon from Bumblebee's POV, followed by...well...spoilers! ;)
