This is so perfect and utterly beautiful. Your characterizations are spot on, from Jim's spontaneousness and flirtation to Spock's struggle despite his base matter-of-factness. Even Sarek is so true to canon. I just really really love this. It's probably going to become part of my own personal fanon, because ... wow ... yeah. Gorgeous! I would love to see more in this version of the STXI world, if only because I'm greedy, but I can completely respect wanting to leave such a flawless work, well, flawless.
