Loved your characterization throughout. Great details as well with Jim's muddy knees, his broken Vulcan, the great imagery of the rain. I feel so sad that Spock got a fever and missed seeing Jim, then Jim not remembering him years down the road. Lovely work. Great depiction of Sarek as well. Loved how he put his coat around Spock.
