Ah! See, that's my fault. In my head, I'm seeing them with Illya's head rather on Napoleon's chest. There would probably be room for them to actually be nose to nose, but it would probably be really uncomfortable without lips being involved in a kissing-type thing. So his head would have to be turned to one side, for breathing purposes, which would put the back of his head where Napoleon's face is. So, while they are bodily face to face, their heads aren't lined up in the same manner.

That's my fault though, for not making a Illya's-face-against-Napoleon's-shoulder reference. Too clear in my head, not clear on paper. ^_^
