At least steal something and give me some righteous indignation!

So yesterday when I was at work, someone from the store next door came in and asked us, "Does either one of you drive a (insert car name here)."

Why yes, yes, I do.

Turns out that someone smashed my driver's side window in to get into my car. Now, here's where it gets funny, even though it's really not. Two days ago, I broke the zipper on my purse and bought a new one. Since I was on my way to a meeting, I just put all my stuff in the new purse and tossed the other one onto the passenger floorboards. Whoever this genius was, they busted into my car, rifled through my empty purse, and stole NOTHING. In fact, I rarely lock my car because there is nothing in it to steal! If I had just left it open yesterday, I would still have a window.

I have full coverage but my deductible is $500, so bleh. I'm out a window for a few weeks until my husband starts his new job and I get some petty cash. Ah, well, I'm consoling myself with the fact that it is still drivable. They could've just stolen the whole car....

My husband did point out this'll end up being the most expensive purse I've ever bought. ;)
