I still have my hardbound version of the first few Xanth books (thanks to the Sci Fi Book Club), and I think I read up to about the fourteenth when I was in high school.

I have paperback copies of the Incarcations of Immortality, which I reread about once every three years or so, and the first few of the Split Infinity series, which I also read most all of in high school.

I like his writing, at least some of the books. And I still chuckle about Faux Pass.
